Sophizzle's Scribbles was established in 2020 during the pandemic and began as a portrait business. After gaining some clientele, I decided to broaden my horizons by creating a sticker collection, along with creating wood burnings, wire wrapped crystal pendants, and polymer clay trinkets. Post pandemic, I was eager to enter the tattoo industry, so I reached out to my favorite artist for some tips. They told me that wood burning is one of the closest mediums to tattooing, so I got my hands on a wood burning tool as soon as I could. This ignited my love for creating whimsical woodworks, which I sell at pop up markets, along with being available to purchase online.
As an independent business owner, I am responsible for creating signature artwork and merchandise, coordinating events such as farmers’ markets and art pop-ups, and completing freelance commissions for clients. I design my point of purchase display, promotional social media graphics, and business cards.
