SOPHIE ELRICK
Heyooo! My name is Sophie Elrick. I'm a Detroit based independent artist with a specialization in illustration and portraiture, along with having a fancy for frogs, bugs, botanicals, and all things whimsical. I am in pursuit of of a BFA in Graphic Design at Michigan State University.
I enjoy working with a variety of mixed mediums including graphite, charcoal, ink, watercolor, oil, wood burning, collage, and digital software. My design experience includes in logo work, apparel design, creating layouts for flyers, posters and books, and establishing brand identity.
Outside of school, I run my own independent business known as Sophizzle's Scribbles. I am responsible for creating signature artwork and merchandise, coordinating events such as farmers’ markets and art pop-ups, and completing freelance commissions for clients. I sell an assortment of products including portraits, stickers, prints, wood burnings, keychains and miniature clay trinkets.
After graduation, I hope to enter the tattoo industry!
